Enterprise AI Engineer III (AI)

Salary: $116,500–$163,000 total cash range, with potential pay up to $186,500 based on sustained performance.

What you will do

• Own service and integration architecture for enterprise AI platforms and systems, ensuring security, scalability, cost efficiency, and operability.
• Build reusable infrastructure-as-code modules, automation frameworks, policy-as-code controls, and self-service engineering patterns.
• Design integrations between internal platforms and enterprise SaaS systems with appropriate lifecycle, security, compliance, and data-flow controls.
• Define SLOs and implement observability through telemetry pipelines, synthetic tests, alerting, and actionable operational signals.
• Lead incident resolution, root-cause analysis, post-incident improvements, and operational workflow optimization.
• Document architecture decisions, forecast capacity and costs, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform, or enterprise systems engineering, or 3+ years with a Master's degree.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.
• Design-level experience with public cloud infrastructure, including compute, networking, storage, and IAM, plus Terraform, Pulumi, or equivalent IaC tooling.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or a similar programming language, with experience building automation and making cost-aware infrastructure recommendations.
• Experience designing SaaS or enterprise-system integrations, observability solutions, SLOs, security controls, and compliance practices.
• Working knowledge of LLMs, RAG, agentic systems, AI-assisted operations, enterprise AI copilots, knowledge assistants, governance, guardrails, and production monitoring.

Nice to have

• Experience with Glean, ServiceNow, Salesforce, or similar enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Experience creating engineering standards, templates, golden paths, or internal developer platforms.
• Mentorship experience, open-source infrastructure contributions, or familiarity with FinOps and workload-level cloud cost optimization.
