Location: Remote within the United States, with hiring preference for the Northeast near New York City or Minneapolis, Minnesota, Illinois, or Wisconsin. Approximately 25% travel is required.

Salary: $170,000–$230,000+ annually, including base salary and an uncapped bonus plan.

What you will do

• Design complete threat management and cybersecurity programs aligned with client objectives, risk appetite, budgets, and business goals.
• Advise client stakeholders and sales teams on security strategies, roadmaps, technologies, and services.
• Drive cybersecurity services and technology opportunities, including qualification, cross-selling, proposals, RFPs, contracts, forecasting, and pipeline management.
• Conduct requirements gathering, technology selection, demonstrations, and security evaluations.
• Collaborate with service delivery teams and technology partners to ensure solution alignment and client satisfaction.
• Track threat landscape developments and provide thought leadership, guidance, and continuous improvement recommendations.

Requirements

• At least five years of information security experience focused on threat management, preferably in consulting, advisory, architecture, or engineering roles.
• Expertise in application security tools, vulnerability management, threat hunting, enterprise incident management, forensics or eDiscovery, threat intelligence platforms, and asset management.
• Strong understanding of current threats, vulnerabilities, defensive controls, and cybersecurity technologies.
• Strong business, technical, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to lead technology-focused discussions.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM, GIAC, or vendor-specific cybersecurity certifications are preferred.
• Ability to work remotely within the United States and travel approximately 25% or as needed.

• Experience speaking at events and evangelizing technology vision.
• Additional expertise in data protection and AI, cloud security and DevSecOps, endpoint security, identity, network security, SOC, SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, or threat intelligence.
