TL;DR
Senior ServiceNow Developer (ServiceNow): Designing, developing, and continually improving enterprise ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, DevOps, and SecOps with an accent on platform architecture, integrations, governance, and advanced scripting. Focus on solving complex production issues, building scalable workflows and interfaces, and leading code quality and mentoring efforts.
Location: Remote within the United States; the role is associated with Livonia, Michigan, and may require travel for project assignments.

What you will do
- Design, develop, debug, test, implement, and enhance ServiceNow applications and platform configurations.
- Maintain and improve ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, DevOps, and SecOps modules.
- Build workflows, forms, tables, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, ACLs, notifications, and Service Portal components.
- Configure and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Troubleshoot complex production, integration, compatibility, and availability issues.
- Lead project work, conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with stakeholders and end users.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, DevOps, and SecOps.
- At least 5 years of experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, REST APIs, ServiceNow architecture, and ServiceNow scripting.
- At least 5 years of experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow update sets, multi-instance promotion, testing, integrations, and production support.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, healthcare, or a related field, or equivalent experience; healthcare application experience is required.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, independent-working, mentoring, and project-management skills.
Nice to have
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Certified Implementation Specialist certification.
- Experience with CSDM, CMDB design, Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB governance, and Application Portfolio Management.
- Experience with GRC/IRM, Vulnerability Response, and Vulnerability Management.
