Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation Officer (NO-2) (Research, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation)

What you will do

• Set standards for programme performance planning and monitoring.
• Support the preparation and implementation of the Integrated Monitoring, Evaluation and Planning plan.
• Coordinate evaluation activities, reporting, dissemination, and follow-up of recommendations.
• Analyze evidence and performance data to strengthen programme design and decision-making.
• Build partnerships with government counterparts, development partners, civil society, and other stakeholders.
• Support innovation, knowledge management, and capacity building.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, psychology, sociology, education, or another social science field.
• At least two years of professional experience in social development analysis and programming at international or developing-country level.
• Experience conducting impact assessments and applying findings to programme design and implementation.
• Expertise in quantitative and qualitative data analysis, programme monitoring, strategic planning, and results-based planning.
• Experience engaging stakeholders and managing partnerships.
• Fluency or proficiency in both Spanish and English is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Arabic, Chinese, French, or Russian.
• Experience with monitoring and evaluation in a UN system agency or organization.
• Country-level experience in development, fragile settings, or humanitarian contexts.
