Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation Officer (Research, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation): Supporting UNICEF Cuba’s programme planning, monitoring, evaluation, reporting, and follow-up with an accent on evidence generation, impact assessment, and results-based planning. Focus on analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, coordinating evaluations, strengthening programme decisions, and building partnerships with government and development stakeholders.
Location: Havana, Cuba; duty-station-based position

What you will do
- Set standards for programme performance planning and monitoring.
- Support the preparation and implementation of the Integrated Monitoring, Evaluation and Planning plan.
- Coordinate evaluation activities, reporting, dissemination, and follow-up of recommendations.
- Analyze evidence and performance data to strengthen programme design and decision-making.
- Build partnerships with government counterparts, development partners, civil society, and other stakeholders.
- Support innovation, knowledge management, and capacity building.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, psychology, sociology, education, or another social science field.
- At least two years of professional experience in social development analysis and programming at international or developing-country level.
- Experience conducting impact assessments and applying findings to programme design and implementation.
- Expertise in quantitative and qualitative data analysis, programme monitoring, strategic planning, and results-based planning.
- Experience engaging stakeholders and managing partnerships.
- Fluency or proficiency in both Spanish and English is required.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Arabic, Chinese, French, or Russian.
- Experience with monitoring and evaluation in a UN system agency or organization.
- Country-level experience in development, fragile settings, or humanitarian contexts.
