TL;DR
Senior Program Planner (Blue Ring) (Program Controls/EVMS): Developing and maintaining integrated program plans, cost forecasts, and performance reporting for space infrastructure and national security programs with an accent on schedule-cost integration, earned value management, and Estimate at Complete updates. Focus on establishing control account baselines, analyzing variances, implementing scope changes, and improving PMO forecasting practices for complex aerospace programs.
Location: Greater Seattle Area. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or national, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Base pay: $123,611–$173,054.70 for Colorado applicants; $134,434–$188,207.25 for Washington applicants. Other site ranges may differ.

What you will do
- Lead the development and maintenance of integrated program plans and forecasts in partnership with program managers and Integrated Product Teams.
- Build Work Breakdown Structures and control account data structures for complex programs.
- Coordinate status updates, baseline changes, reforecasts, and Estimate at Complete activities.
- Perform cost and schedule variance analysis and produce actionable metrics, key performance indicators, and leadership reports.
- Support accurate program cost estimates, scope change management, and transparent performance reporting.
- Improve PMO cost management procedures and mentor program cost analysts.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in business, finance, engineering, project management, or another highly analytical field.
- 8+ years of program planning and program finance or business analytics experience across government or commercial contracts or internally funded R&D programs.
- Working knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems and experience in non-earned-value environments.
- Experience establishing cost and schedule baselines, managing control accounts, conducting variance analysis, reporting progress, and updating EACs.
- Ability to work in ambiguous environments, communicate effectively, build trust, and maintain professional relationships.
- Must meet U.S. employment authorization requirements; a background check is required.
Nice to have
- Top Secret clearance or experience establishing new programs.
- Experience with Deltek Cobra, Empower, or similar cost and schedule integration tools.
- Hands-on experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar planning software.
- Experience implementing company-wide process improvements and delivering IPMRs on EVM-required contracts.
- Experience supporting DCMA, DCAA, joint site surveillance, or other government audits; MBA or PMP certification.
