TL;DR
Data Engineer (SQL/Python): Designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable data pipelines and cloud data platforms with an accent on ETL/ELT, data integration, and analytics datasets. Focus on supporting mission-critical systems, modelling data across multiple sources, and ensuring security and governance compliance.
Location: Hybrid in Reading, UK, with office attendance three days per week.
Salary: £400–£800, Inside IR35, open depending on experience.

What you will do
- Develop, maintain, and support enterprise data pipelines and integration solutions across multiple data sources.
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes for reporting, analytics, and business intelligence.
- Support cloud-based data platforms and improve enterprise data capabilities.
- Assist with data modelling, schema design, and the creation of analytics and reporting datasets.
- Work within an Agile team to deliver secure, scalable data engineering solutions.
Requirements
- SC clearance is required.
- Up to two years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, analytics, or a similar technical role.
- Good understanding of data engineering principles and data lifecycle management.
- Experience with SQL, Python, and relational databases.
- Ability to work from the Reading office three days per week.
