TL;DR
Lead / Principal IT Auditor (Fintech): Leading risk-based IT audits across infrastructure, information security, applications, and compliance controls with an accent on internal controls, regulatory standards, and technology risk. Focus on identifying vulnerabilities, improving IT governance, validating corrective actions, and communicating complex findings to senior leadership.
Location: Copenhagen, Denmark; hybrid work with two days per week in the office and remote work on other days

What you will do
- Lead and execute IT audits across business units, infrastructure, applications, and information security systems.
- Assess compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
- Identify IT risks, vulnerabilities, and control gaps, then provide actionable mitigation recommendations.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to resolve findings and validate corrective actions.
- Prepare audit reports and present findings, recommendations, and action plans to senior leadership.
- Develop audit plans, methodologies, tools, and processes while guiding junior auditors.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of practical IT auditing experience.
- Strong knowledge of network technology, operating systems, information security, SDLC, and Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge of CSA-CCM, ITIL, COBIT, BSI IT Grundschutz, NIST, CIS-18, and ISO/IEC 27000 series.
- High analytical skills, methodical expertise, and the ability to understand complex matters.
- Fluent English required; strong interpersonal communication skills are expected.
