Lead Platform Architect (Azure)

Location: Ljubljana, Slovenia; Hybrid; Full time

What you will do

• Design, configure, operate, and continuously improve the end-to-end Microsoft Azure platform.
• Define Azure standards, reference architectures, governance practices, and solution design reviews.
• Implement Azure networking, landing zones, identity and access management, security controls, and Azure Databricks environments.
• Automate infrastructure deployments and operational tasks with Infrastructure as Code and scripting.
• Build backup, disaster recovery, high availability, monitoring, logging, and alerting capabilities.
• Optimize platform performance and cost, document architecture and runbooks, support troubleshooting and escalations, and mentor engineers.

Requirements

• Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure infrastructure, networking, identity, monitoring, governance, and security.
• Experience designing and operating enterprise-scale Azure platforms and Azure Databricks environments.
• Strong knowledge of VNets, NSGs, routing, VPN, ExpressRoute, DNS, segmentation, and perimeter security.
• Experience with Linux workloads in Azure, plus scripting with PowerShell, Bash, Azure CLI, or similar tools.
• Experience with Terraform and/or Bicep, Azure Policy, RBAC, management groups, tagging, and resource lifecycle management.
• Daily professional English communication is required in an international environment.
