Data Engineering Lead, Agentic Infrastructure (AI)

Location: Must be based in Germany (Remote/Hybrid)

What you will do

• Design, architect, and build a scalable internal data platform and central data warehouse.
• Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and mentorship to a dedicated pod of engineers.
• Develop robust data pipelines and infrastructure required to power internal AI initiatives.
• Establish a future-proof technical foundation to optimize internal operations and expand into customer-facing products.
• Implement data governance, data lineage, observability, and strict quality controls.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering, building modern data stacks and high-throughput pipelines.
• Proven track record of technically leading and elevating small teams while remaining hands-on.
• Ability to design company-wide data architectures as the principal technical decision-maker.
• Strong understanding of data modeling specifically to support AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics.
• Familiarity or experience with Agentic AI technologies and autonomous agent infrastructure.
• Must be based in Germany.
