SAP Project Manager

TL;DR

SAP Project Manager (SAP/SAP S/4HANA): Leading complex SAP implementation, migration, rollout, and transformation projects from initiation through go-live and hypercare with an accent on delivery governance, stakeholder coordination, and budget and timeline control. Focus on coordinating international matrix teams, managing project risks and dependencies, and driving successful adoption of SAP solutions across business functions.

Location: Hybrid working arrangements; eligibility to work within Hungary and the EU is required. International travel of approximately 20–40% is expected.

What you will do

• Lead SAP implementation, migration, rollout, and transformation projects through go-live and hypercare.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, resource plans, and delivery standards.
• Coordinate SAP consultants, developers, business stakeholders, external partners, and international matrix teams.
• Monitor progress and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, quality, and project governance.
• Facilitate workshops, steering committees, status reviews, customer discussions, and change management activities.
• Support presales, project estimations, proposals, documentation, testing coordination, knowledge transfer, and user adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of project management experience in SAP projects, with a proven record of delivering SAP implementation or transformation projects.
• Experience managing project budgets, timelines, resources, and stakeholders in international or matrix organizations.
• Knowledge of SAP business processes across multiple functional areas, including FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, BW, and SuccessFactors.
• Knowledge of PMI, PRINCE2, SAP Activate, or Agile methodologies, with strong planning, risk management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent Hungarian, professional English communication skills, and eligibility to work within Hungary and the EU are mandatory.
