Senior UX Researcher (AI)

Location: Hybrid role in Barcelona, Poblenou, Spain

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end UX research across discovery, user interviews, usability testing, insight synthesis, and recommendations.
• Research the needs, behaviours, pain points, and opportunities of internal users including underwriters, claims handlers, and business teams.
• Support product and business teams in creating user-centred solutions and validating innovative digital experiences.
• Contribute to conversational AI, intelligent workflows, and other emerging technology initiatives.
• Partner with UX/UI designers, product owners, engineers, architects, and business stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
• Manage multiple research initiatives, facilitate workshops, and drive evidence-based decisions through qualitative and quantitative insights.

Requirements

• Significant UX research experience with digital products, enterprise platforms, or complex user journeys.
• Experience with user interviews, usability testing, discovery research, surveys, workshops, and concept validation.
• Ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations for product, business, and design decisions.
• Strategic thinking, strong storytelling and communication skills, and the ability to work with diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and independently manage research activities across multiple projects.
• English CV required; experience with AI-enabled experiences, conversational interfaces, intelligent assistants, automation, UX/UI design, prototyping, Figma, service design, or front-end technologies is advantageous.
