What you will do
- Provide front-line production support for Murex MX.3 across pricing, risk, trade capture, workflows, and market data interfaces.
- Own the full incident lifecycle, including triage, impact assessment, root cause analysis, and remediation.
- Monitor logs, dashboards, and batch processes to proactively identify and resolve system issues.
- Troubleshoot pricing inconsistencies, risk/sensitivity gaps, trade enrichment failures, and interface delays.
- Manage vendor cases by gathering evidence, reproducing bugs, and validating fixes with the Murex vendor.
- Support production releases and emergency changes while maintaining SOPs and operational runbooks.
Requirements
- Must be based in New York, NY.
- 10+ years of overall IT experience, with 5+ years in Front Office Trading Technology support.
- Strong hands-on experience supporting Murex MX.3 in a production environment.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux support, SQL (Sybase, SQL Server, or Oracle), and scripting in Python or Unix shell.
- Deep understanding of Equity Derivatives products and Greeks.
- Knowledge of Murex modules including eTradepad, Pricing, Simulation, Livebook, and Workflow.
Nice to have
- Experience with observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, or ITRS.
- Familiarity with enterprise schedulers like Tidal, Autosys, or Ctrl-M.
- Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow for incident and change management.
