TL;DR
Junior Fullstack Software Engineer (Node/TypeScript): Building and maintaining backend services, customer-facing renewal journeys, and serverless infrastructure for a business comparison platform with an accent on Node.js, TypeScript, Ruby on Rails, Nuxt, and AWS. Focus on debugging complex production issues, developing Salesforce integrations, and improving secure, event-driven systems alongside experienced engineers.

What you will do

  • Build and maintain backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and Ruby on Rails.
  • Develop customer-facing frontend applications and digital renewal journeys with Nuxt.
  • Build infrastructure as code with AWS CDK and support serverless, event-driven architecture.
  • Develop Salesforce batch jobs and improve business quoting tools.
  • Troubleshoot bugs, investigate errors, and maintain secure, robust software.
  • Apply engineering standards and use AI in the software development lifecycle and product solutions.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of JavaScript and Node.js; TypeScript experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and experience with a major cloud provider, preferably AWS.
  • Experience with Git and a basic understanding of CI/CD processes.
  • Confident understanding of software testing practices.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, and structured delivery skills.
  • Collaborative approach and openness to pairing, coaching, code reviews, and mentoring.
