Forward Deployed Engineer (Palantir) (Palantir Foundry/Healthcare): Architecting and deploying enterprise-grade data and operational solutions for kidney care and healthcare engagements with an accent on Foundry Ontology, production data pipelines, and user-facing applications. Focus on designing scalable cloud data architectures, implementing governance for HIPAA-compliant data, and translating complex business requirements into deployable solutions.
Location: Remote within the United States; occasional work at corporate or client offices and participation in video meetings may be required.

What you will do
- Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade Palantir Foundry solutions for healthcare operations.
- Build and maintain batch, streaming, and CDC data pipelines using Foundry data engineering capabilities.
- Develop user-facing applications, custom widgets, and operational workflows with Workshop, OSDK, React, TypeScript, and Python.
- Design scalable BigQuery data warehouses and optimize cloud-native architectures on Google Cloud Platform.
- Implement data governance, security controls, and HIPAA-compliant handling of healthcare data.
- Partner with technical teams, business stakeholders, and executives while mentoring engineers and shaping technical strategy.
Requirements
- Must have professional experience with Palantir Foundry, including at least 2 years building Foundry solutions.
- At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or technical consulting.
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, TypeScript, and/or Java, plus large-scale data engineering libraries and tools.
- Deep knowledge of Foundry Ontology, OSDK development, Pipeline Builder, Incremental Pipelines, Data Connections, Connectors, Syncs, and Scheduling.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, enterprise networking, data warehousing, and scalable data pipelines.
- Strong understanding of enterprise data governance, security, and HIPAA-compliant healthcare data handling.
Nice to have
- Experience with Palantir AIP, LLM applications, machine learning solutions, Model Studio, or BigQuery ML.
- Healthcare, kidney care, clinical operations, or revenue cycle management experience.
- Experience leading teams of three or more engineers and mentoring technical staff.
- Experience creating developer tooling, reusable Foundry accelerators, or open-source projects.
