Salary: CAD 125,000–195,000 per year, plus eligible incentive plans

What you will do

• Define and maintain the enterprise AI architecture strategy, target state, principles, standards, reference architectures, and multi-year roadmaps.
• Align AI investments across global business units, identify duplication and risk, and drive reuse of scalable enterprise platforms and services.
• Lead AI architecture governance, including approved technologies, deployment controls, human oversight, security, risk, compliance, and exception management.
• Advise executives and governance bodies on AI opportunities, investment priorities, architectural direction, and regulatory considerations.
• Build and mentor an AI architecture community while supporting Solution Architects and Domain Architects in adopting enterprise standards.
• Measure AI adoption and investment outcomes, continuously refining roadmaps based on business value and stakeholder feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of architecture leadership experience and 5+ years leading enterprise AI, data, analytics, digital transformation, or emerging technology domains.
• Experience defining enterprise technology strategies and roadmaps, leading architecture programs, and managing governance functions.
• Experience influencing senior executives and large-scale investment decisions, preferably in insurance, wealth management, banking, or financial services.
• Deep expertise in Generative AI, Agentic AI, automation, large language models, AI platforms, orchestration frameworks, and enterprise AI operating models.
• Strong knowledge of architecture governance, risk, security, business capability planning, executive communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
