Mid-Level Fullstack Engineer (.NET & Angular): Remediating security vulnerabilities and hardening full-stack applications for a public sector HR software provider with an accent on security remediation and dependency management. Focus on fixing critical vulnerabilities like XSS and SQL injection, implementing comprehensive unit testing for fixes, and automating dependency updates.
Location: Remote (Focus on Latin American professionals, HQ in Florianópolis, Brazil)

What you will do
- Remediate security findings across the stack, including dependency upgrades and code-level fixes for XSS, path traversal, and SQL injection.
- Develop unit and functional tests to verify that vulnerabilities are closed and features remain operational.
- Own end-to-end upgrades, diagnosing and resolving build or behavior issues during major version bumps.
- Produce written analyses of upgrades to prevent knowledge duplication within the team.
- Coordinate credential rotations and safe rollouts with the DevOps team across all secret consumers.
- Implement automation to keep routine dependency updates out of the backlog.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong background in C# / .NET and ASP.NET Core web applications.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (Angular preferred).
- Working knowledge of SQL, including queries, parameterization, and ORMs.
- Experience with habitual test-writing (unit, integration, and E2E).
- English: Clear written and spoken proficiency for daily cross-team collaboration.
Nice to have
- Experience with security remediation, secure code review, or vulnerability triage.
- Familiarity with Docker and security configurations.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization standards (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT).
- Exposure to Java or Python.
- Effective use of AI coding tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot) with critical security judgment.
