Location: Remote within the United States. Candidates living near offices may choose a hybrid schedule with office attendance on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Occasional business travel is required, approximately 3–5 times per year or less than 15%. Authorization to work in the United States is required.
Salary: $56,000–$95,000 per year.

What you will do
- Serve as the principal editor for Spanish-language AP Exam content, including AP Spanish Language and Culture and AP Spanish Literature and Culture.
- Conduct editorial reviews of English-language AP exam questions, test forms, and instructional resources across 39 courses.
- Develop and maintain course-specific editorial guidelines and documentation using the Chicago Manual of Style and Real Academia Española standards.
- Oversee editorial reviews for all AP World Language courses and coordinate internal subject matter experts with external editorial consultants.
- Use content management systems and authoring platforms to produce accurate, publication-ready materials.
- Identify workflow improvements and explore AI-driven and other digital technologies for editorial processes.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional copyediting experience in both English and Spanish, preferably in secondary or postsecondary education.
- Fluency and proficiency in English and Spanish across all modalities are required.
- Demonstrated proofreading, editing, and professional style-guide application skills.
- Bachelor’s degree and knowledge of the Chicago Manual of Style and Real Academia Española.
- Experience with content management systems and technical authoring platforms.
- Strong organization, prioritization, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
