Full Stack Developer (C#/.NET/React)

Location: Hybrid in Malta, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. Applicants must have the legal right to work in Malta.

Salary: £40,000–£60,000, with compensation also stated as up to €60,000 depending on experience.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC, React, and MS SQL.
• Build backend services, frontend features, messaging systems, and background services.
• Create responsive interfaces with React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical design sessions, and product development initiatives.
• Improve technical architecture and products while evaluating emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• Approximately 5 years of commercial software development experience across backend and frontend technologies.
• Strong experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC, and enterprise application development.
• Hands-on experience with React or similar JavaScript frameworks, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Understanding of software development principles, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
• Experience with MS SQL, efficient database queries, SOA, messaging systems, and distributed caching such as Redis.
• Fluent English and the legal right to work in Malta are required.

Nice to have

• Experience in Agile development environments.
• Exposure to cloud technologies and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Previous experience with SaaS or platform-based products.
