Lead Lighting / Compositing Artist (Maya/Nuke)

What you will do

• Lead and inspire a team of lighting and compositing artists to deliver visually cohesive work across sequences.
• Set up and manage sequence lighting templates, look development, and key compositing to streamline workflows.
• Collaborate with Art Directors and Supervisors to maintain the artistic integrity of the show.
• Troubleshoot complex technical and artistic challenges in Maya and Nuke.
• Distribute workloads, manage deadlines, and mentor team members through technical challenges.
• Document workflows and train new team members to foster a collaborative culture.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Maya, Nuke, and Arnold.
• Experience working with Shotgrid/Flow.
• Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and visual storytelling sensibility.
• Experience managing lighting/compositing workflows and mentoring teams.
• Must be based in Vancouver, BC for on-site work.
