What you will do
- Plan and deliver Mathematics and Science lessons aligned with the curriculum, schemes of work, and lesson plans.
- Create a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment that supports creative play, exploration, and learning.
- Develop and update schemes of work and lesson plans with the line coach and Curriculum Development Manager.
- Assess students, monitor their academic and developmental progress, and prepare reports for school leaders and parents.
- Adapt teaching methods for individual and group needs and supervise projects, field trips, visits, and other experiential activities.
- Participate in teacher training, professional meetings, school operations, and student safety duties, including bus loading and unloading.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of teaching experience.
- TSC certificate.
- Relevant degree in Education, P1 Diploma, or P1 Certificate.
- Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving ability, flexibility, and openness to change.
- Working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to establish behavioral expectations, manage classrooms, and support students with varying needs.
Nice to have
- Training, qualification, or experience teaching the Cambridge curriculum.
- Experience teaching Computing and Digital Literacy.
- Experience preparing learners for Year 9 Checkpoint and Year 11 IGCSE examinations.
