TL;DR
Senior Staff Accountant (Finance): Managing Order-to-Cash accounting processes and high-volume data reconciliations with an accent on financial systems and process automation. Focus on optimizing financial controls, supporting system enhancements (UAT), and leveraging data tools like SQL and BigQuery to ensure reporting accuracy.
Location: Hybrid (requires 1 day per week in the Oxford, UK office)

What you will do
- Support daily and month-end Order-to-Cash accounting across multiple products and payment platforms.
- Perform high-volume data reconciliations and investigate discrepancies across financial systems.
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and FP&A to resolve billing issues and improve processes.
- Support finance system enhancements, including user acceptance testing (UAT) and implementation.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis for month-end close.
- Identify and implement opportunities to automate manual finance operations.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or financial systems.
- Proficiency with ERP (Workday), CRM (Salesforce), and advanced MS Excel.
- Experience with SQL, BigQuery, Power Query, or Alteryx for data analysis.
- Knowledge of B2C Order-to-Cash processes in high-volume environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience.
- Must be based in or able to work from the Oxford, UK office (hybrid).
