What you will do

• Build and test certified product configurations, specifically focusing on KVM virtualization-based architectures.
• Develop and maintain AI-assisted automation frameworks for continuous security certifications and testing.
• Translate complex technical requirements from certification bodies (NIAP, BSI, NIST) into actionable engineering parameters.
• Integrate certification testing workflows into automated environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Coordinate with production engineering teams to implement architectural recommendations and security mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software product development, academia, or FOSS communities.
• Deep technical expertise in Linux OS, KVM hypervisors, and containerized virtualization.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python) and configuration management (Ansible).
• Strong familiarity with security hardening, cryptographic standards, and compliance frameworks (OVAL, XCCDF, SCAP, STIGs).
• Must be based in Italy or the EMEA region.
• English: B2 level proficiency required for technical documentation and communication.

Nice to have

• Programming and debugging experience in C.
• Familiarity with physical security concepts such as data centers and access control systems.
