What you will do

• Support product requirement and primary concern documentation in quality management systems throughout product development.
• Translate product concepts, play patterns, and consumer use conditions into mechanical, physical, chemical, and abuse testing plans.
• Review designs, test plans, laboratory reports, and product validation results for safety, durability, regulatory compliance, and consumer experience.
• Analyze testing data, consumer complaints, returns, and field performance to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Investigate product failures, safety issues, and manufacturing defects using root cause analysis and support corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design, development, packaging, regulatory, manufacturing, suppliers, and testing laboratories on quality and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in quality engineering, product development, or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of global toy safety standards and regulations, including ASTM F963, CPSIA, EN71, and ISO.
• Experience with quality management systems, quality documentation, internal or third-party testing laboratories, and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis, data interpretation, risk management, and root cause analysis tools such as FMEA, 5 Whys, and Fishbone.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, project management, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in the toy or consumer products industry.
• Experience with statistical tools such as Minitab.
