What you will do

• Design and implement automated solutions to improve finance operations and reporting efficiency.
• Partner with underwriting, operations, and project management teams to embed new products and distribution channels into controlled finance processes.
• Manage outsourced service providers and monitor delivery against service levels and control requirements.
• Develop and review reconciliations, investigate outstanding items, and support accurate financial reporting.
• Contribute to systems implementations, process definition, user acceptance testing, and end-to-end process documentation.
• Support audits, tax submissions, treasury activities, and the coaching and development of junior staff.

Requirements

• Professionally qualified accountant with CIMA, ACCA, or ACA certification.
• Minimum of three years of post-qualification experience in an insurance accounting role.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree and strong academic background.
• Strong understanding of insurance accounting principles, financial data, controls, risk, and governance.
• Analytical, organised, solutions-focused, and able to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders.
• Leadership capability with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop junior team members.

Nice to have

• Experience working with outsourced service providers or shared service teams.
• Interest in developing skills in AI and automation for process improvement.
