Senior 3D Animator

Location: Montréal, Québec, Canada; work may be performed at the studio or remotely.

Animation studio creating television series, feature films, cinematics, amusement park experiences, motion capture projects, and video games.

What you will do

• Create high-level keyframe character animation from storyboards, 2D animatics, and reference documents.
• Maintain animation consistency from one shot to another.
• Follow the style and artistic vision set by the Animation Director.
• Meet production deadlines and quotas established by the Coordinator and Producer.
• Analyze and apply requested corrections, preparing work for daily validations.
• Participate in team meetings and sequence launches.

Requirements

• College and/or university education in animation.
• At least 7 years of experience in high-quality 3D animation.
• Mastery of Maya animation.
• Excellent knowledge of traditional animation techniques and character movement principles.
• Ability to interpret animated or static storyboards and analyze organic movement, weight, and fluidity.
• Eligibility to work in Canada is required.
