Salary: $130,000 - $175,000

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including SaaS, licensing, professional services, and insurance TPA agreements.
• Manage the full contract lifecycle, covering pricing, service levels, data protection, IP, and regulatory terms.
• Serve as the primary legal partner for Sales, Finance, Product, Technology, and Compliance teams to identify and mitigate commercial risks.
• Build and refine contracting tools, including templates, playbooks, and approval workflows.
• Monitor developments in commercial, tech, and insurance regulatory law to advise the business on necessary changes.

Requirements

• J.D. and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid capacity in New York City, NY.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in a law firm or in-house environment.
• Substantial experience drafting and negotiating complex tech transactions (SaaS, licensing, info-sec).
• Experience in insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries is strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of running negotiations independently from first draft to signature.
