Cloud Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Lead the design and development of cloud infrastructure and strategy from first principles.
• Set up AWS infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform.
• Build and maintain ML infrastructure to support model training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Ensure all infrastructure decisions account for EU data sovereignty and compliance requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for external cloud and infrastructure partners.
• Coordinate cloud development efforts across the engineering team.

Requirements

• Strong experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure design.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or equivalent).
• Understanding of EU data sovereignty and compliance requirements.
• Experience building ML infrastructure.
• Ability to own infrastructure strategy end-to-end, from architecture to partner coordination.
• EU work authorization

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated or defense-adjacent industries.
• Background setting up infrastructure for early-stage startups.
