TL;DR
2 National Interns, Child Protection (Child Justice, Ending Violence Against Children (EVAC) and Communications) (Child Protection, MHPSS, Case Management): Supporting child protection capacity-building and cascade training activities in Libya with an accent on training coordination, programme documentation, stakeholder engagement, and communications. Focus on developing learning materials, monitoring participant progress, preparing reports, and creating child protection visibility content.
Location: Office-based in Tripoli, Libya. The internship lasts six months and is intended for national interns. Appointments are subject to medical clearance and applicable visa and vaccination requirements.

What you will do
- Plan, coordinate, and document cascade training activities covering MHPSS, case management, child justice, and children on the move.
- Develop, review, and format curricula, facilitator guides, presentations, and other learning materials.
- Coordinate with government counterparts, implementing partners, consultants, and facilitators.
- Prepare meeting minutes, briefing notes, reports, and programme documentation.
- Monitor training delivery, participant tracking, and knowledge management processes.
- Create communication and visibility materials, including success stories, photographs, social media content, and event highlights.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in a recognized higher education degree programme, be over 18, or have graduated within the last two years.
- Have a degree or studies in social sciences, social work, psychology, law, international relations, public policy, education, or a related field.
- Demonstrate basic skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Have basic report writing, data management, communication, and social media content creation skills.
- Interest or academic, volunteer, or extracurricular experience in child protection, child rights, research, training, or community engagement is desirable.
Nice to have
- Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience creating communication or social media content.
- Knowledge of child protection systems strengthening, child justice, MHPSS, or case management.
