Senior Network & Security Engineer

What you will do

• Own the day-to-day operation and development of office networks, including routing, switching, Wi-Fi, and VPNs.
• Design and maintain secure network segmentation using VLANs and firewall policies based on least-privilege principles.
• Optimize wireless coverage and performance through strategic access-point placement and configuration.
• Operate and tune network and endpoint security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and EDR/XDR.
• Manage network access and device onboarding using RADIUS, 802.1X, and device certificates.
• Lead network changes, incident management, and root-cause analysis while maintaining audit-ready documentation.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience operating wired and wireless networks across multiple office locations.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, firewall policies, and VPNs.
• Practical experience with RADIUS, 802.1X, or comparable access-control solutions.
• Proficiency with network platforms such as Fortinet, Juniper, or Mist.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking and Wi-Fi connectivity.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Copenhagen.

Nice to have

• Experience with mesh networking or certificate-based device identity.
• Knowledge of cloud networking or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with SIEM or network monitoring and detection tooling.
