What you will do

• Implement scalable, high-performance backend services powering global payment infrastructure.
• Lead technical discussions and mentor junior team members.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and the technical roadmap.
• Drive engineering excellence through code reviews and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to implement robust technical solutions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in Backend development with deep expertise in Java.
• Advanced knowledge of Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Extensive experience with AWS cloud services and microservices architecture.
• Strong track record of designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems.
• Expert-level understanding of database design and optimization.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Stockholm, Sweden.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-throughput, low-latency systems.
