Web & Digital Analytics Specialist (PostHog)

Location: Hybrid (Cambridge, UK). Candidate must be willing to travel to the office when required.

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end PostHog implementation across websites and desktop applications.
• Define event schemas, identify gaps, and validate data collection accuracy.
• Instrument the full user onboarding and reboarding journey, including retention metrics.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure consistent and correct technical integration.
• Build automated tooling to scale the generation of analytics insights across the organization.
• Define instrumentation standards and maintain data quality.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience implementing analytics platforms (PostHog, Contentsquare, Heap, or Hotjar).
• Proven experience building workflow automation tooling for analytics or insight generation.
• Strong SQL skills and the ability to interpret JavaScript for event validation.
• Ability to work effectively and directly with engineering teams.
• Self-directed and proactive approach to driving implementations to completion.
• Must be based in the UK and able to travel to the Cambridge office.
