TL;DR
Golang Developer (Go): Building scalable backend services, booking platforms, search engines, and large-scale API integrations for a travel e-commerce platform with an accent on distributed systems, microservices, and high-volume data processing. What you will do
- Build and maintain high-performance backend services and microservices in Go.
- Develop a greenfield Go booking platform to replace legacy PHP systems.
- Migrate search engines from Scala and PHP to Go.
- Design API integrations with internal platforms, tour operators, suppliers, and aggregators using REST and gRPC.
- Process large volumes of offer data, optimize performance, and ensure service reliability.
- Collaborate with product and development teams, conduct code reviews, and solve complex technical issues.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of professional software development experience, including at least 5 years of commercial Go experience.
- Experience designing and building distributed systems and microservices.
- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Elasticsearch, and Redis.
- Practical experience with REST APIs and gRPC, plus knowledge of architectural patterns such as Hexagonal and Clean Architecture.
- Communicative English at a minimum B2 level.
- Eligibility to work or invoice in Poland and to work or contract within the EU.
Nice to have
- DevOps experience with CI/CD and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
