What you will do

• Develop fully parametric 3D CAD models of mechanical parts and assemblies using Autodesk Fusion 360.
• Edit and update existing CAD models while maintaining design intent, manufacturability, and engineering specifications.
• Review and audit CAD models for dimensional accuracy and GD&T compliance.
• Apply DFM principles across injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining, casting, and forging processes.
• Support AI model development by delivering accurate CAD data and documenting engineering decisions.
• Communicate design rationale and technical feedback to cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Expertise in Autodesk Fusion 360 and parametric CAD modeling.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5 or equivalent) and DFM principles.
• Experience with mechanical assembly modeling and CAD model auditing.
• Proficiency in manufacturing processes (Injection Molding, Sheet Metal, CNC, Casting/Forging).
• Knowledge of CAD automation or scripting using Python, iLogic, NX Open, or VBA.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with other parametric CAD platforms such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or FreeCAD.
• 10+ years of experience in complex model creation or 4+ years in CAD model editing.
• Reverse engineering expertise, including Scan-to-CAD and point cloud conversion workflows.
