Dispensing Pharmacist (Medicinal Cannabis): Supervising the safe and compliant dispensing of controlled medicinal cannabis prescriptions with an accent on clinical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and patient care. Focus on checking prescriptions, maintaining secure pharmacy operations, counselling patients, and managing reliable medicine supply chains.
Location: Winnersh, United Kingdom. Saturdays only.
Salary: £60,000 pro rata.

What you will do
- Clinically check controlled drug prescriptions for medicinal cannabis.
- Supervise dispensing, medicine ordering, storage, dispatch, and secure pharmacy operations.
- Act as the Responsible Pharmacist and supervise pharmacy staff.
- Provide patient counselling on safe medicine use and specialised equipment.
- Maintain electronic health records, accurate documentation, stock controls, and audit processes.
- Collaborate with prescribers, multidisciplinary teams, governance, and operational stakeholders to support safe prescribing and compliant supply chains.
Requirements
- UK-qualified and registered Pharmacist with a valid GPhC number.
- At least two years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, flexibility, and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Commitment to regulatory compliance and high standards of patient care.

- CPD-accredited education in medical cannabis.
- Training can be provided where necessary.
