Focus on conducting sensitive protection assessments, identifying risks and trends, maintaining high-quality data, and supporting emergency distributions.

Location: Beirut, Lebanon; onsite field activities inside and outside collective shelters are required.

What you will do

• Conduct household assessments, rapid needs assessments, and surveys in person or remotely to identify protection risks and understand local conditions.
• Facilitate psychosocial support activities and awareness sessions for children, youth, caregivers, adults, and other affected clients.
• Apply a psychological first aid approach and engage respectfully with affected populations.
• Collect accurate, consistent information, submit completed tasks on time, and prepare daily activity reports.
• Identify protection risks and trends, share findings with IRC staff, and support client outreach.
• Support the distribution of in-kind services and participate in IRC trainings and coaching sessions.

Requirements

• Arabic and English communication, reading, and writing skills are required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, youth, adults, and older people.
• Ability to gather information objectively, appropriately, and sensitively.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure with strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Respect for beneficiaries' cultures and traditions.
• Basic technology skills, including the use of tablets.
