What you will do

• Lead quality engineering for decentralized scrum teams and define test strategies.
• Develop and execute complex functional and automated tests using a risk-based approach.
• Maintain and enhance automated regression suites and internal testing tools.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to analyze, debug, and resolve issues.
• Mentor new employees and drive departmental quality initiatives to closure.

Requirements

• Must be based in Manila to support a hybrid work arrangement.
• 2+ years of experience in testing REST services, web, and mobile applications.
• Proficiency in Python with 2+ years of experience using Pytest and Pytest BDD frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and Page Object Model design patterns.
• Strong knowledge of Agile testing, BDD, and TDD methodologies.
• Experience writing Gherkin feature files and performing API testing via Postman.

Nice to have

• Ability to create and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Docker containers, images, Dockerfiles, and Docker Compose.
• Proficiency with JMeter and PyCharm.
• Familiarity with React and JavaScript.
