Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake)

What you will do

• Design and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Snowflake to ensure high-quality data for analytics.
• Lead the advancement of data governance capabilities, focusing on data quality and master data management.
• Collaborate with data architects, product managers, and business stakeholders to deliver aligned data solutions.
• Coach business users and data owners in adopting data governance principles.
• Mentor fellow data engineers to foster technical excellence and drive continuous improvement across the platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT development, and data modelling.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for designing high-performing data solutions.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake, DBT, and Azure.
• Deep knowledge of data governance and enterprise data management practices.
• Fluent English (C1+ level).

Nice to have

• Proficiency in German.
