Compensation Director (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in the metro areas of San Jose, California, or Dallas, Texas, USA.

Salary: $175,000–$300,000 annually, depending on location and experience.

What you will do

• Identify, evaluate, pilot, and scale AI-driven solutions for compensation planning and decision-making.
• Monitor AI, labor market, pay transparency, regulatory, and competitive compensation trends.
• Advise business leaders on compensation strategy, pay decisions, and organizational design.
• Partner with organizational business partners and leadership teams to align compensation programs with business goals.
• Navigate complex stakeholder environments and build alignment around innovative compensation approaches.

Requirements

• Progressive, proven experience in HR, compensation, or total rewards.
• Ability to challenge conventional thinking and solve complex organizational problems.
• Experience translating innovative ideas into scalable, measurable impact.
• Strong cross-functional partnership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in the San Jose or Dallas metro area.
