Principal Application Engineer (Acoustic Simulation)

What you will do

• Collaborate with the Sales team to identify and scope acoustic simulation opportunities.
• Manage and execute technical evaluations and benchmarks for existing and potential customers.
• Train and support customers during project ramp-up.
• Deliver advanced trainings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
• Provide high-level technical expertise to address complex client queries.
• Partner with R&D, Sales, and Marketing to influence product improvement and innovation.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in acoustic simulation or related domains.
• Proficiency with Actran and familiarity with tools like VA One, COMSOL, or Fidelity Charles.
• Strong knowledge of acoustic theory, aeroacoustics, structural acoustics, and NVH studies.
• Experience in multiphysics coupling (structural, thermal, and fluid domains).
• Scripting skills in Python or Shell for process automation.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Must be based in Shanghai.
