Railway Validation and Verification Engineer (Embedded Systems)

What you will do

• Define, update, and execute test strategies based on system and functional requirements.
• Design, execute, and maintain test cases and validation procedures for railway signalling subsystems.
• Perform functional, non-regression, delta, and gap testing in safety-critical environments.
• Set up, maintain, and support test benches, HIL/SIL platforms, laboratory rigs, and system integration environments.
• Investigate anomalies, coordinate defect resolution, and collaborate with Design, Software, and RAMS teams on corrective actions.
• Produce test reports, provide validation recommendations, and document V&V knowledge for team upskilling.

Requirements

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) from an engineering school or university specializing in embedded systems.
• At least 5 years of experience in system or product validation, functional testing, or integration within a safety-critical industry such as railway, aerospace, or automotive.
• Experience designing, setting up, and maintaining HIL/SIL validation environments and integration benches.
• Experience with requirements traceability and validation evidence throughout the V-Cycle.
• Knowledge of tools such as DOORS, Reqtify, and EWM.
