What you will do

• Serve as the primary technical consultant for Simufact manufacturing simulation solutions across the customer lifecycle.
• Develop technical solutions, software demonstrations, Proof of Concept (POC) studies, and benchmark evaluations.
• Support customers in complex simulation projects involving sheet metal forming, forging, rolling, welding, and additive manufacturing.
• Guide customers through model creation, material definition, solver execution, and results interpretation.
• Conduct customer training programs and workshops to improve software adoption and simulation capabilities.
• Collaborate with sales teams to develop technical proposals and ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Welding Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields.
• Solid understanding of finite element analysis (FEA), material constitutive behavior, and metal forming theory.
• Hands-on experience in sheet metal forming, forging, rolling, welding, heat treatment, or metal additive manufacturing.
• Ability to independently perform mesh generation, material setup, boundary condition definition, and simulation execution.
• Must be based in Shanghai.
• English: Ability to read technical documentation is required; verbal communication is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with Simufact Forming, Simufact Welding, Simufact Additive, FormingSuite (FTI), MSC Marc, or MSC Nastran.
• Industry experience with automotive OEMs, tooling and die manufacturing, or steel production.
• Background in CAE technical support or simulation project implementation.
• Familiarity with digital manufacturing workflows and process optimization.
