What you will do

• Develop and introduce new semiconductor package technologies, processes, and materials for Power Package applications.
• Collaborate with manufacturing sites and subcontractors to deliver innovative packaging solutions.
• Conduct technical assessments, RFQs, and risk evaluations for subcontractors.
• Perform failure analysis investigations and implement corrective actions to resolve reliability and quality issues.
• Create technical reports and contribute to the innovation portfolio via invention disclosures and patents.
• Benchmark internal and external capabilities regarding equipment, materials, and design rules.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Materials, Manufacturing, or a related engineering discipline.
• Deep knowledge of semiconductor assembly processes including Die Attach, Wire Bond, Molding, and Singulation.
• Proficiency in engineering methodologies: SPC, DOE, MSA/GRR, 8D, and PFMEA.
• Experience with statistical analysis software such as JMP or Minitab.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and manage subcontractors.
• Ability to travel primarily within Asia and occasionally to Europe.
