Staff Software Engineer (Frontend (React))

Salary: $205,500 - $277,500

What you will do

• Lead the KE frontend development, including hosted authoring environments, administrative UIs, and runtime application UI generation.
• Architect and develop software, prototypes, and proofs of concept (POCs).
• Lead the gathering of functional requirements and the development of technical specifications and project planning.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert, mentoring fellow engineers and solving complex programming and design problems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, QA/QE, and various business units to drive results.
• Generate technical documentation and presentations to communicate architectural and design options.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience designing and developing enterprise-level, cloud-native frontend applications.
• Strong leadership experience in leading meetings, presenting, and cross-functional coordination.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, React, and Python.
• 3+ years of experience with microservices architecture and API designs (REST, GraphQL).
• Expertise in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), unit testing, and Test Driven Development (TDD).
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent professional work experience.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Java/J2EE or Kotlin.
