What you will do

• Provide second-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, or in-person.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems, including system crashes and network connectivity issues.
• Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls using Active Directory.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals.
• Perform patch management, updates, and basic server administration to maintain system health.
• Onboard and offboard new hires and mentor Level 1 technicians on troubleshooting best practices.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Memphis, Tennessee, USA
• 2-4 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a related technical role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS, Microsoft Office Suite, and enterprise software.
• Proficiency in network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs) and basic server administration.
• Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, MCP, or ITIL.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365).
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity tools and endpoint protection best practices.
