Service Engineer (Electronics)

TL;DR

Service Engineer (Electronics): Supporting and leading engineering and technician teams to maintain and optimize HDD test systems with an accent on equipment reliability and process control. Focus on performing root cause analysis, implementing predictive maintenance, and ensuring high standards of customer service for system breakdowns.

Location: Onsite in Prachinburi, Thailand. Candidates must be local; relocation is not provided.

What you will do

• Lead and support technicians in project execution and professional development.
• Coordinate with Engineering and PSG teams globally to resolve technical product issues.
• Manage customer test equipment planning and delivery for system service breakdowns.
• Operate and maintain production tester equipment according to work instructions.
• Perform root cause analysis using 5 Why, DOE, and 8D methodologies.
• Monitor equipment health and implement predictive and proactive maintenance.

Requirements

• BS or higher in Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical, or related Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with HDD test systems or similar equipment.
• Advanced knowledge in Mechatronics, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering.
• Proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC), FMEA, and Control Plans.
• Must be based in Prachinburi, Thailand (Local nationality preferred).
• Good communication, listening, and writing skills in English.
