Location: Remote or hybrid within the United States
Salary: $131,325–$189,525 base salary, plus equity, cash bonuses, and benefits.

What you will do
- Lead the analysis and interpretation of molecular and clinical data for early cancer detection.
- Develop research hypotheses and execute studies to improve computational models and molecular assays.
- Build bioinformatics pipelines for high-throughput NGS data processing and analysis.
- Assess assay performance, quality control, and clinical or diagnostic utility in collaboration with wet-lab scientists.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Molecular R&D, Model R&D, and Computational Biology teams.
- Advance molecular assay development by applying current oncology and molecular biology techniques.
Requirements
- PhD in computational biology, cancer biology, statistics, bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience developing NGS assays and computational pipelines for complex, high-throughput data workflows.
- Strong quantitative reasoning and data analysis skills applied to scientific problems.
- Advanced programming experience with Python statistical packages such as NumPy, Matplotlib, and Pandas, or equivalent experience in R or another language.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for scientific and broader audiences.
- Ability to collaborate with computational and experimental scientists in a cross-functional environment.
Nice to have
- Expertise in chromatin biology, liquid biopsy, DNA methylation, and cancer early detection.
- Experience using DNA methylation data for biomarker discovery.
- Experience developing, applying, and evaluating statistical or machine learning algorithms.
