UX Designer (iGaming)

Location: Remote (100% WFH) or Hybrid in Montevideo, Uruguay

What you will do

• Conduct user and domain research with dealers and casino stakeholders to translate real-world workflows into design decisions.
• Design real-time transactional flows for buy-ins, credits, fills, and tip transactions where accuracy and error recovery are critical.
• Create high-legibility, low-cognitive-load layouts optimized for compact on-table touchscreens.
• Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate complex behaviors to engineering teams.
• Plan and execute usability testing in realistic table conditions to iterate designs based on dealer feedback.
• Maintain and contribute to a consistent design system across Dealer Displays and reporting screens.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of UX design experience, specifically in enterprise or operational software environments.
• Experience designing for complex, data-dense workflows (e.g., POS, financial, logistics, or industrial systems).
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Expertise in user research methods, including contextual inquiry and usability testing.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience designing for touchscreens, embedded devices, or purpose-built hardware.
• Previous experience in the casino, gaming, or other regulated industries.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
