Legal Counsel (Technology Infrastructure)

TL;DR
Legal Counsel (Technology Infrastructure): Build and lead the legal function supporting GPU infrastructure operations across France and Europe with an accent on negotiating complex commercial agreements and ensuring compliance with EU AI Act, GDPR, and defense regulations. Focus on drafting contracts, managing external counsel, advising executives on corporate governance, and creating internal legal processes to enable fast commercial operations.
What you will do
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including customer MSAs, DPAs, hardware supply contracts, and financial partnership agreements
- Own compliance with EU AI Act, GDPR, NIS2, and French defense and critical infrastructure laws
- Manage external counsel across France, Europe, and the US; coordinate cross-border transactions and M&A
- Advise executive team on corporate structuring, equity, governance, fundraising, and international expansion
- Build internal legal processes and templates to enable fast commercial and operational activities without exposure
Requirements
- French-qualified lawyer or equivalent European bar with 6+ years PQE
- Experience negotiating complex B2B technology or infrastructure contracts; SaaS, IaaS, or data center contracting is a plus
- Working knowledge of GDPR and emerging AI regulation; experience with regulated or defense infrastructure is advantageous
- Fluent in French and English
- Comfortable enabling legal support in a fast-moving environment
