What you will do

• Lead the design of bulk material handling systems, including conveying, blending, screening, and packaging, from concept through operation.
• Generate critical technical documentation including Heat and Material Balances (HMBs), PFDs, P&IDs, and Process Control Narratives.
• Drive process safety deliverables, including HAZOP recommendation closures, MOC changes, and operational alarm management.
• Execute design projects to identify and close technical gaps in capital project execution and commissioning.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external partners to ensure systems meet safety, performance, and cost targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of industrial experience in process design, commissioning, and operations, ideally with powders or advanced materials.
• Proficiency in process modeling software such as ASPEN, HYSYS, or equivalent simulation tools.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory and safety standards including NFPA, API, ASME, and OSHA.
• Experience with P&ID development and basic to advanced control schemes.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to project sites during construction, commissioning, and startup phases.
