What you will do

• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Cybersecurity Systems Administrators and Platform Engineers.
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle (architecture, deployment, patching, and retirement) of the enterprise security stack, including SIEM, EDR, CNAPP, and SOAR.
• Establish and report on KPIs and SLAs regarding tool uptime, log ingestion integrity, and agent health.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines to ensure repeatable and secure deployments.
• Partner with Detection & Response and Engineering teams to integrate high-fidelity data pipelines.
• Manage vendor relationships, software licensing, and cloud capacity planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Security, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years in cybersecurity engineering or platform operations, with 2+ years of experience leading technical teams.
• Hands-on administration expertise in SIEM (Splunk, Sentinel), Endpoint Protection (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne), and Cloud Security (Prisma Cloud, Wiz).
• Proficiency in automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash and configuration management via Terraform or Ansible.
• Deep knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory/Entra ID, and cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid from Belen, Costa Rica
